Safety

In the case of an emergency or an unforeseen event, updates will be provided through our school-wide communication platform, Class Dojo.

In the event that an essential and student-specific message must be delivered, please call the main office and the message will be quickly relayed.

Fire drills are conducted monthly. Detailed plans are posted inside of the door of each classroom. Each class has a designated route to an outside area that is a safe distance from the building. All students are escorted by staff, and travel in a quiet and orderly fashion.

A detailed emergency plan is available in the school office.

Each student is required to submit an updated Emergency Contact Form (to be kept in the main office) including:

  • Parent, Guardian, and/or Emergency Contact Name(s)
  • Complete and up-to-date address
  • Phone numbers (home, cell, work)
  • Physician’s name and phone number
    Medical alert information

“Attention families: The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), a Federal law, requires that a school with certain exceptions obtain your written consent prior to the disclosure of personally identifiable information from your child’s education records. However, a school may disclose appropriately designated “directory information” without written consent, unless you have advised the school to the contrary in accordance with school district procedures.

Parents who wish to opt their students out of directory information releases must complete an Opt-Out Form for each of their students, and must return each form to the school at which each student is enrolled by October 1, 2025.
